LifeShapes is a collection of shapes with each representing a teaching of Jesus or aa principle from his life that serves as the foundation of a Discipling language around which a discipling culture can be built.  Mike Breen started developing LifeShapes in the early 1980's.

People become familiar with LifeShapes by spending time in a life-on-life relationship with someone that is investing in them as a disciple.  After a year in such a discipling relationship (such as a Huddle), people are able to use LifeShapes to recall Jesus' Words, Ways, and Works and to apply them to their lives and to the lives of people around them.
